Swimming, Mexican Food and Paris Pastries

I met a girl my age named Alex a few days ago. I'm really excited about it. I feel like we already have so much in common, not to count our names lol. Yesterday we went swimming at her brother-in-law's pool. It was so nice to finally have weather good enough for swimming. It has been so overcast lately. But it is supposed to start getting nice the rest of this week. And Friday night, we are going out dancing!! Yeeeah!!! I am currently sitting at the house listening to the cleaning people mumble back and forth in Spanish. I feel a little awkward being here while they clean. I feel so lazy just sitting here while they scrub. But hey, where am I supposed to go?? I am currently immobile. I usually drive a Lincoln Navigator, but it is out being detailed and isn't due back for another couple of days! Ugh!!
Also, just on a side note, there are no mexican restaurants here!!!!! If I want some good enchiladas I have to drive an hour and half into the city! What is up with that? Not to sound politically incorrect, but there are like a million Mexicans here...not one of them could open a restaurant???? It is my favorite kind of food and I am now finding myself searching for recipes online. I guess I'm going to have to learn how to cook.
The dad I work for, Robert, flew to Paris last weekend to visit for his best friend's surprise birthday. He came back 2 days ago and brought everyone treats! I got this box full of soft cookies that were dipped in different flavors of chocolate! OMG! They were so good! Yes, WERE! I already ate them all! He also brought back pastries with this gooey, candy-like filling inside. It doesn't get much better than fresh baked goods from Paris!
